We enjoyed the celebration of our college graduates in the village of Kenge. A lot of the villagers and village leaders attended. The gospel was preached to all. Our first five college graduates from this new college were showcased before the village and invitations to attend this college were given. The top left picture shows the children were participating in this grand event. The picture to the left, shows two teacher graduates, three church planter graduates and four of our college teachers. We are in need of support for three church planters at $100 per month.
The church building progress in the village of Nsele, where Pastor Ambroise resides, is slowly coming along. In the two pictures above, you’ll see the foundation is done, cement blocks are finished, and the rebar for the columns are in place.
One of our single pastors on staff at our main campus, Pastor Maurice, was recently married. In the DR Congo, there are usually a series of three steps in marriage. One is to participate in the government sanction, another is the customary, and lastly is the “Religious” Christian marriage.
