Merry Christmas!

Due to both the First Congo War from 1996-1997 dubbed “Africa’s World War” & the Second Congo War from 1998-2003, our “aha moment” changed the direction of our ministry. The “aha moment,” of no American missionaries coming to DR Congo, birthed Rise Congo from which we began financially supporting Congolese nationals in service with the Lord. Our “Vision, Mission, and Strategy” statement to reach Congolese people with the life-changing gospel is this:

“Changing Lives By Raising Spiritual Leaders Through Education

in our Academy, Colleges, Churches and Conferences.”

We now have 1,500 students on a weekly basis in our Academy. Their lives are exponentially changing through excellent education by Congolese teachers. The Word of God is being taught on a daily basis. God is being exalted through songs and weekly preaching in our chapel sessions. This potential alone is changing children and families lives as the children go home everyday and testify to their parents of what was taught that day. We see the fabric of our city, Maluku, changing.

Some of our graduating Academy students will attend our Bible college in this location. We have three other Bible colleges with teachers who are Congolese graduates from our ministries.

Our 27 churches are all pastored by Congolese.

Our annual conferences in different locations are all lead by our Congolese national leadership. They are trained and partially supported by faithful givers in the United States, like you.

What is written above are the results of our “aha moment.” The beautiful Congolese people are rising up from the ashes of war and are seeing the harvest field of people ripening unto harvest. The laborers are few but are growing in number and are being fruitful in the life-changing gospel.

Would you be a willing partner in this huge life-changing effort? Would you be willing to donate your time in both prayer and financial donations in 2023?

17 Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.

18 But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odor of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, well-pleasing to God.

19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4: 17-19
