"We Raise Spiritual Leaders Through Education in our Academy, Bible Colleges, and Conferences."

Looking Back 2019

A lot was accomplished over 2019. Our new Academy building was 100% completed. Our 2019-2020 school year has 200 elementary students and 100 junior high and high school attendees. Our 15 orphans have been supported by generous donors.

Over the entire 2019 year, we restructured and revitalized the Rise Congo ministries. Our catalyst is now set, we are ready to launch our “2020 Vision” campaign reaching more Congolese with the gospel through each of our current churches, planting a church, and through training more ministry leaders in our three new Bible colleges.

A Changed Life

Since 1991, one of our faithful Congolese friends, Pastor Jean-Marie Besolo, has been helping us. He has been a point man, protector, chauffeur, friend, and a help in our Fellowship’s churches. All of these years, he has been driving very unreliable vehicles to accomplish these great tasks. In 2020 we would like to thank him by buying him a better quality vehicle. He really loves the Volkswagen Golf, and a gift of a newer, better quality car would cost about $5000. Consider being a part of this thank-you gift for this faithful servant of God.

Looking Forward 2020

Our “2020 Vision” for church planting has three steps.

1) In the first six months; prayer and fasting, creating teams, researching villages needing local churches, begin evangelization, and start in-home Bible studies.

2) Sunday June 7, 2020 will be the grand opening of these new church plants throughout the Congo.

3) The last 6 months of 2020 will be teaching on foundational growth in a relationship with Christ, their families, and their communities.

Our new Bible colleges will be quite busy this coming year. These college teachers and new students will be available to support the church planting campaigns for 2020.

During the upcoming 2020 year, as you look towards the year-end non-profit, giving season, please prayerfully consider being a partner with us in this kingdom vision effort with Rise Congo.

  • The first priority need is a diesel generator. Because electricity is unreliable at Rise Congo’s association’s main office in the village of Maluku, Rise Congo is seeking $2,300 towards a new diesel generator. This equipment is the backbone to fulfilling our mission’s vision for education. Together with your help, our entire association of 26 churches, four Bible colleges and our Academy, will bring many to Christ, disciple new believers, edify the mature saints, educate our Academy children and prepare new pastors, missionaries, and teachers.

  • A second giving opportunity is approximately $2000 for the transportation costs to launch the new church planting efforts and the many trips over the entire year.

  • A third important giving opportunity is to create an incredible opening day on June 7, 2020 for each of the new church plants; this is about $1300.

With your support, we will be able to see 25 new churches planted in 2020, thousands of people reached with the gospel, people trained and growing in their faith in those churches, and new candidates training in our Bible colleges to support these new ministries.
